Stage 12 questions
Where is the best place to watch Stage 12 of the 2027 Tour de France?
Near the finish in Valence for the sprint, or on the open Rhône Valley roads in the last 25 km, where crosswinds can split the bunch.
Where should I stay for the Stage 12 start in Chambéry?
Chambéry has plenty of rooms, and Aix-les-Bains, on the lake about 20 minutes north, is a pleasant alternative. If you watched Stage 11, Albertville is about 45 minutes from the start.
Where should I stay for the finish in Valence?
Valence has the biggest choice of rooms on the stage. Stay central for an easy walk to the finish area.
How far is it from Valence to the Stage 13 start in Aubenas?
About 90 km, or roughly 1 hour 30 minutes by car. The Ardèche has no passenger trains, so a car makes it far easier.
